Young Indians Movement and We Grow Forests Organisation, organized an Environmental Drive

Saraswathi College of Arts and Science, Vilappil in collaboration with the “Young Indians Movement” and “We Grow Forests Organisation” organized an Environmental Drive in our college to create awareness of the noble cause of reforestation. “We Grow Forests” is an NGO committed to creating awareness programs on sustainable living that are tuned to Nature. 

The representatives from the respective organizations Mr. Shanker from Young Indians Movement and Ms.Aparna Anand and Merin Jacob from the  “We Grow Forests” Organisation imparted valuable lessons on “Green Consciousness” to our Students. 

Students were further sensitized to the cause of Reforestation by the speakers from both organizations.    Our Honorable Vice-chairperson and CEO Dr. Devi Mohan and Academic Director Prof. N. Jayakumar graced the occasion with their presence. Around 100 students participated in the event. 25 saplings were planted on the campus as part of the drive.
