As a part of Career Guidance and Counselling sessions, The Department of Commerce, in association with the Career Guidance Cell & IQAC of Saraswathi College of Arts and Science, Vilappil, organized an insightful ‘Orientation Programme for professional course CMA’, on 17th June 2022.
The session was handled by CMA, Pramod Chandran PG, Treasurer, ICAI, Trivandrum chapter, and CMA, Manoharan Nair.S, Faculty, ICAI, Trivandrum Chapter.
The orientation program began with the presentation of an informative video that deftly explained the scope and structure of the CMA course to our BCom students. The video presentation was followed by an in-depth talk on the courses by Shri. Manoharan Nair in which he demarcated the difference between the CA & CMA courses. He also explained the proper ways to get into the CMA course. The fruitful session was followed by an interactive Q & A Session through which the students clarified their doubts regarding the career prospects offered by the CMA programme at home and abroad.
Mrs. Anupriya Krishna D., Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, was the host of the program.
Mrs. Devi Krishna J.G, Assistant professor of the Department of Commerce, rendered the welcome address.
Prof. N Jayakumar, Academic Director, Saraswathi College of Arts and Science, delivered the introductory speech.
Ms. Anamika Santhosh of the first year B.Com CA rendered the vote of thanks.
Prof.N.Jayakumar, along with the Head of the Department of BCom Finance Dr. Lekshmy S N, and Head of the Department of BCom. Computer Applications Dr.Manoj C gave plant saplings to the speakers as a token of our gratitude.
