A Voluntary Blood Donation awareness program  and A Talk on Digital Marketing were organized by Saraswathi College of Arts and Science Vilappil in association with Yuva Young Indian’s Movement.
 
The program was graced by the presence of our Chief Guest, Shri. K Rajagopalan currently serves as the president of the Federation of Indian Blood Donors Organizations and the Vice president of All Kerala Blood Donors society. A true humanitarian in spirit, Shri K. Rajagopalan has made 99 blood donations so far and has become an inspiration to many. Over the years he has been instrumental in promoting and motivating the youth of our nation towards altruistic voluntary blood donation. 
The Awareness program conducted by Rajagopalan Sir was filled with personal anecdotes and pearls of wisdom regarding voluntary blood donation. The truly engaging session burst the myths surrounding blood donation and proved to be an eye-opener for our students. At the end of the session majority of our participants expressed their willingness to donate blood, which made the program a resounding success.
A talk on Digital marketing and entrepreneurship was organized by Saraswathi College of Arts and Science, Vilappil in association with the YUVA Young Indians Movement. Mr. Sajan.S.Nandan, CEO & Co-founder of  Grand Idea Technologies was the speaker at the event.
He discussed the scope of entrepreneurship in the current Indian market and shed light on the new innovative strategies employed in the field of digital marketing. Further, he shared his life experience on how he became a successful entrepreneur and emphasized the relevance of communication skills in becoming one.
Our students were deeply enthused by the topic and had many queries which paved the way for an interactive session between the speaker and our students.
The session ended with a golden opportunity as Mr. Sajan was willing to offer one of our students a thirty-day internship program in his start-up. 
The event was blessed with the presence of our Vice Chairperson Dr. Devi Mohan who handed over a memento to Shri Rajagopalan Sir as a token of appreciation from the SCAS family.
