Navarasa, The Film and Theatre Club of Saraswathi College of Arts and Science, was inaugurated on 17th November 2022. Ms. Devaki Rajendran, actor, and dancer was the chief guest who inaugurated the event. Ms. Suma C Subrmanian, teacher and theatre activist, was present. Ameena(S3 Psychology) and Saran (S3 Geology) were the event hosts. Ashly Augustine of S3 MA English sang the prayer song. Ms. Geethu Nadh G S, Assistant Professor of English and coordinator of Navarasa, delivered the welcome address. Prof. N Jayakumar, Academic Director, rendered the presidential address. Ms. Beena L, Assistant Professor of Malayalam, felicitated the club. The formal event ended with a vote of thanks by Nithya (S3 Geology). Ms. Devaki Rajendran performed a dance onstage. A workshop on acting followed the event. Ms. Suma C Subramanian conducted the workshop and selected a pool of students to be part of the drama teams.
