Literati, the Literary Club of Saraswathi College of Arts and Science, was inaugurated on 24-11-2022. The event began at 10.30 am at the college auditorium. Ashly Augustine of S3 MA English and Adwaith J of S5 BA English were the hosts for the day. Dr. Preethu P, Assistant Professor of English, presided over the function. Dr. Priya K. Nair (academic, writer, and translator) and V Shinilal (writer) were the chief guests. Beena L, Assistant Professor of Malayalam, rendered the welcome address. After the presidential address, the club was formally inaugurated by lighting the lamp. Sreejith S, Vice -Principal, and Jijoy I S, Assistant Professor of English, rendered felicitations. The vote of thanks was given by Sedhhardth S Kumar of S5 BA English. Students recited poetry in English, Malayalam, Hindi, French, Arabic Tamil, and Sanskrit. The wall magazine of the club, Poomaram, was inaugurated by Sreejith S.
