The Department of Commerce at Saraswathi College of Arts and Science proudly hosted an incredibly successful session on “Decoding Union Budget 2024-25” on August 12th, 2024. We were privileged to have Dr. Lekha Chakraborty, a renowned economist and professor at NIPFP, lead the session. The event was planned for one hour but extended to two hours due to the overwhelming interest and engagement from our students, who had numerous insightful questions. Dr. Lekha Chakraborty’s excitement and detailed responses made this session truly remarkable.
