GENERAL LIBRARY & READING ROOM
Library
The College Library functions as the General Library and Departmental Libraries. It is situated on the second floor of the main building. Along with the library, there is a Reading Room with ample space. The College Library has a good and vast collection of books necessary for all the courses and subjects associated with the institution. The General Library subscribes to peer-reviewed journals and 5 dailies. The Library has a special collection of books for competitive exams too including UGC NET. Our Library has been computerized with an e-cataloging system, which helps students and teachers to locate books easily. Each year the best library user is felicitated.
LIBRARY RULES
- The library remains open from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm on all working days.
- Students are admitted to the Library and Reading Room on the production of Identity Cards.
- Books taken out by staff/students shall not be retained for more than 14 days from the date of issue.
- Failure to return a book on the due date makes the staff /student liable to a fine.
- Borrowers are responsible for the loss or damage to books taken out on loan or for consultation by them.
- Students must clear their dues before they receive their hall tickets for the University Examinations at the termination of their academic course or before they receive their Transfer Certificate if they leave before the completion of their academic course.
- All books taken by the Teaching Staff, Non-Teaching Staff, and Students are to be returned in time for Annual Stock Verification.
